Weston-Super-Mare Grand Pier Opening Summer 2010

The wait is nearly over for the grand re-opening of the Weston-super-Mare Pier. Over three hundred staff have secured employment and the finishing touches are being put in place. It is anticipated that the pier will opening in the forthcoming weeks and those planning on corporate coach hire for a day out trip to the Somerset resort this year are in for a treat!

Since the Pier was tragically damaged two years ago in a fire, much renovation has been carried out. The new resort will boast a year round state of the art theme park and entertainment complex. Features will include a 4-D cinema, an indoor go kart track, Laser Maze and a Crystal Mirror Maze. Family fun can be had by all and those using, for example, corporate coach hire for a company day out can enjoy a Haunted House, Robo Coaster, F1 Simulator and a Crazy Circus.

There will also be conference facilities suitable for everyone's needs, whether you are booking for twenty, or two thousand people. The new site will also incorporate wedding party bookings as well as school trip facilities. Future attractions include a donkey parade, to take place on 19th November 2010, in aid of Children in Need.
