Take a School Coach Trip to the World Museum in Liverpool

If you are looking for an end of term day out destination for your school that combines fun with educational activities, then perhaps you are looking for the World Museum Liverpool. There museum is open from 10 am until 5 pm daily and there is much to explore and to do. All years of the curriculum are catered for, from reception, through to primary, secondary schools and even colleges. There are a range of learning sessions, learning resources and exploration zones on hand.

Travel by school coach hire to Liverpool and your class can explore the 'Biodiversity: what on Earth is it?' and 'Plantastic!' Exhibitions. These look at our planet and the life and plants that grow upon it. Both exhibitions run until December 2010.

Explore the natural world, Aquarium, Clore Natural History Centre, Botany, Zoology and Bug House exhibitions, or even take a trip through space and time with The Planetarium. Discover astronomy, particle physics, oceanography and take a trip through horology and scientific instruments. Learn about meteorology, space science and public science education.

You can also take the class to the Weston Discovery Centre, where you can learn about the Human World and World Cultures from Africa, the Americas, Oceania and Asia. Explore the Ancient World through the eyes of the Anglo-Saxons, Egypt and Sudan collection and the Numismatics, Greek, Roman and European coin collections.
