Seaside Capital of England Set to Celebrate British Tourism Week

Although Brighton does its bit for sun, sea and surf in Britain, nowhere quite lives up to the bright lights, glitz and donkey rides of Blackpool. In celebration of British Tourism Week, which runs from the 15th to the 21st of March this year, Blackpool will stage a host of superb events aimed at drawing in the crowds and honouring all that is great about tourism in Britain.
The popular Sea Life Centre, for example, will feature a pirate theme for the week, as staff dress up as Captain Blackbeard and company. Housing one of the most significant collections of tropical sharks in Europe, visitors can also enjoy a range of other features at the centre.
Blackpool is the perfect destination for large groups of people who are in search of fun and adventure, as the seaside resort offers just about everything there is to enjoy in such a location. Accordingly, private coach hire is popular among party-goers who require fast, direct and cost effective travel to one of Britain's most treasured resorts.
Also in celebration of British Tourism Week, Blackpool Zoo will be offering its local residents (living in FY1, FY8, PR3 or PR4 postcodes) half-price admission throughout the week. Of course, visitors from further afield are also likely to be interested in Blackpool Zoo's wild animals during British Tourism Week and, with plenty of parking available at the zoo, private coach hire is again a good option for groups. Blackpool bus services will also be offering reduced fares over the week, whilst there will be plenty of other attractions to enjoy in the seaside capital of England.
