Liverpool's Aintree Racecourse Prepares for Another Historic Grand National
Dated 16/03/2010 by J Wood
The 2010 John Smith's Grand National is just around the corner, so racing fans, horse lovers, sports betters and those who enjoy odd hats and even odder race commentators should be making arrangements to attend Aintree Racecourse.
Scheduled to take place from Thursday the 8th of April to Saturday the 10th of April, the 163rd Grand National is arguably the greatest social event on the horse racing calendar and almost certainly the most historic. The Grand National is also an event in which dreams can be built or shattered, as horse racing and gambling are never more closely linked than at the Grand National. Win or lose, the 2010 John Smith's Grand National is a must-see event for anybody in search of a fun weekend at the races early next month.
The Grand National is also popular with large groups of people, many of whom will book private coach hire to attend the Aintree Racecourse in style and comfort. Given that many will also indulge in a tipple or two during the races, perhaps more so if the outcome isn't in their favour, private coach hire also removes any concerns with regard to driving to and from the event. Groups of people who are likely to benefit from private coach hire to this year's Grand National include horse owner syndicates, corporate entertainers and office groups.
A weekend at the races offers plenty of fun, excitement and adventure. Tickets for the 2010 John Smith's Grand National vary depending on the level of access, but adult prices range from £12 to £195 per ticket.
