Cash Boost set to Put Margate Firmly Back on the Map

Get ready to stir up some nostalgia, as the seaside town of many a Londoner's youth is set to receive a cash boost. Book your private coach hire and pack your sun tan lotion, because Margate's Dreamland Park Grade II listed Scenic Railway roller coaster is soon to be back in action.

American Coaster Enthusiasts have made a sizeable donation to help return the attraction to its former glory, with work set to start later this year. The whole project will cost over twelve million pounds, but the ninety year old roller coaster - which was badly damaged in 2008 in a fire - is after all a major tourist attraction for the seaside town.

As far as British seaside towns go, Margate is as about as quintessential as they come. Situated on the east Coast of Kent, Margate Sands has always been a popular destination for private coach hire London operators and those elsewhere.
