£1 Million Sea lion Show Opens at Blackpool Zoo

If you were struggling for ideas for summer holiday day out destinations, then perhaps you might want to consider organising a private coach trip to Blackpool Zoo, to visit the new sea lion pool enclosure. The largest sea lion pool in the UK, this north west attraction has had a £1 million make over, rendering it more comfortable for animals and visitors alike.

Those visiting the attraction can now sit on one of the two hundred and fifty seats whilst watching the talented and cheeky animals put on a unforgettable performance. The "natural, modern and sea lion-friendly environment" has now been fitted with enormous glass windows – the visual effect of which greatly enhances the experience of visitors to the attraction.

Situated next to the sea lion enclosure is the penguin enclosure. This too has recently been refurbished, allowing visitors to watch the animals swim gracefully underwater in a more natural habitat.

Recent winner of the "Best visitor attraction in Lancashire" award, the zoo houses over one and a half thousand animals. Amongst the other must-see attractions on a day trip here are, the Dinosaur Safari, the play barn, phobia sessions and the animal feeding sessions.
