NBFA offers free private coach hire trip for pensioners

Dated 25/08/2010 by J Hindle

There are few people who would turn their noses up at a free holiday – and especially one that falls in the festive season! Christmas can be a hard time for pensioners, who may be missing loved ones or struggling to cope on their own, which is why the National Benevolent Fund For The Aged have organised a free private coach holiday for OAPs this year.

The trip this festive season will see older people form the Peterborough area invited to take a holiday by private coach hire to Skegness. The trip will take place from the 6th December until the 10th December and will include an excursion to a bingo hall, food, transportation and accommodation. Those over the age of sixty, who have an income of less that one hundred and ninety pounds per week, are invited to contact the NBFA to secure their place. All applications must be in before the 15th October 2010, so don't delay!

Of course, if you don't meet the NBFA criteria, but still fancy a festive trip by private coach hire, then why not explore your options yourself. Many people find that organising Christmas shopping trips is a fabulous way to buy all their presents in one go! Travelling to a large city by coach and in a group, can save substantial sums on transport costs and parking and take the majority of the stress out of the day – leaving you free to relax and enjoy some retail therapy!
